Two of the Northeast’s best up and coming jambands share the stage in Albany , the hometown of Glass Pony
Glass Pony
Encapsulating influences stretching across decades from psychedelic and jam-focused rock, to funk, post-punk, and even modern indie and post-rock, the Albany, New York collective Glass Pony offer a sound that truly translates through generations, with a stylistic blend built to engage a broad listenership. With a focus squarely set on delivering the most captivating live performance possible, the band utilizes infectiously danceable grooves colored with virtuosic individual performances that deftly blend into a cohesive whole. To accentuate their creative songwriting, they place a great value on improvisation and fluid set lists that change from show to show. The band is comprised of Chanda Dewey (drums), Eddie Hotaling (guitar, lead vocals), Jeff Picarazzi (bass), and Greg Pittz (lead guitar). If you’re seeking an experience that dives much deeper than the usual rigidly-arranged performance, hop on and enjoy the ride.

Organ Fairchild
Jam scene mainstays Joe Bellanti, Corey Kertzie and Dave Ruch met in 1983 as members of Buffalo NY Grateful Dead cover band “Wild Knights,” but it wasn’t until early 2020 that they wrote their first original music together, this time as three-piece instrumental organ trio/funky jam band Organ Fairchild.
Highlights of Organ Fairchild’s short life to date include:
Voted New York’s top emerging band in 2021 (out of 64 bands). Appeared on the mainstage at Borderland Music + Art Festival (Jason Isbell, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, TAUK, The Revivalists), Rochester’s Lilac Festival (w/ Anders Osborne and Jackie Greene) and Lincoln Hill Farms (w/ Andy Frasco and the U.N.).Club dates across the northeast with Melvin Seals and JGB, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Sophistafunk and many others. Worldwide release of the debut album “Brewed in Buffalo” (Fall 2021). Landed on the Radio Charts Top 30 List. Individually, these veteran musicians have played with (not in support of) Bob Weir, Rob Wasserman, Robbie Krieger (The Doors), Nels Cline, Tony Rice, moe., Oteil Burbridge, Steve Kimock, Keller Williams, Strangefolk, Gibb Droll, Big Leg Emma, Juggling Suns and more. But since 2020, they’ve been joined together in the pursuit of groovy tunes and juicy jams in a high-powered organ trio format.
