Lord Electro opens
This special Thanksgiving show in Albany, NY follows night one of the Disco Biscuits run at the Palace Theater, November 23rd and will bring together the ever revolving band of today’s top jam and live electronic musicians. J.E.D.I. will be combining forces with the Disco Biscuits themselves, as Marc Brownstein, joins J.E.D.I. for the second time, reuniting after a wild sonic journey during NOLA’s Jazz Fest, and bringing along bandmate and fellow Biscuit, Aron Magner on keys. As always, Aaron Johnston, the drummer for electro-indie-pop group Brazilian Girls, and most recently David Byrne of the Talking Heads’ World Tour, will captain the group’s two sets of sonic exploration from behind the kit. Al Street, international guitar maestro, will round out the group, contributing to this specially curated set list of deep beats and international sonic grooves ranging from 70s Acid-jazz, Afrobeat, Disco, House and Funk. This special show is being at the Pearl Street Pub, converting the space with special production brought in exclusively for this show. With support from up-and-coming Lord Electro, J.E.D.I. will keep fans going late into the night. Tickets for this show are limited, and it is not to be missed.
